Think before you speak

215

This will be short and sweet.

I have a list of things here in my mind that bother me to no end when people use them out of context.

1. rape

Example: I just raped that test.

2. gay

Example: We have a test? That’s so gay.

3. joking about eating disorders

Examples: I’m going to eat something unhealthy and just not eat for the rest of the day (laughs)

I’m so fat. Maybe I should stop eating (laughs)

4. Retarded

Example: Your mom won’t let you come over? That’s retarded.

The only way we’ll ever make this world better is if we actually think before we speak. So many things we say are hurtful to others, and we don’t even realize it.
